Our Story
Queen met at University, Pink Floyd at Poly, we like to think we’ve kept up with the greats too. We met in the school playground – the difference is it’s the school where our kids went rather than where we went!
The Box Of Frogs originally began life as a “Dads’ band” for a one-off fund raising event at Colliers Green School with both Al and Matt fronting the band. The original lineup has changed a bit since those early days, shrugging off their Dads band image, with first Jo, then Andy and most recently Tom.
Having spent 10 years with the band, Matt has decided to give up his rock star lifestyle.
Our good friend Toby has stood in for a number of gigs but now can’t escape and is truly a committed Frog!

We play music that will at least get the toes tapping, if not the whole body out on the dance floor. We play songs people know and can sing along to, while not always what you’d expect!
“We’re not aiming for stardom, we play because we love to do it and it seems other people love it too.”
Have a look at our set list to see the eclectic range of pop, modern rock and indie music we play.
We’ve played at many weddings parties and pubs in the South East and every single one has been a memorable success.
